1975 Young Stan Lee interview

You made us believe
In our own magic
In the mutations
That made us
Magnificent
You gave us
A universe
Of more than
Red white and blue
You gave us
black and brown
women and teens
gay and straight
And we were strong
And we were powerful
In your universe
No one was excluded
You made being a nerd
Cool
You gave us dreams
Community
Generations
It wasn’t entertainment
It was a mirror for our
Collective humanity
We saw Revolution
Redemption
Radical
We devoured
Comics and graphic novels
Waited with baited breath
for your cameo
In each movie
We all hoped
The Cerebro would find us
We wanted to be taught by
Professor X
fight with Magneto
We wanted radioactive
Spiders to bite us
We want to get lost in
Wakanda Forever
You gave the artist hope
The story teller inspiration
You laid the foundation
For
Imagination
How do we thank you for that
How do we thank you
For being a
MARVEL
